- Providing industrial design concepts, 3D visualisations and marketing material for innovative growing products that encourage sustainable, self-sufficient living.

True Reflections UK Ltd. - Design Consultant (02/10 – 08/10)
- Designed the 2011 range of resin and plastic awards for SDL - Europe’s largest wholesale supplier of sports trophies and awards.
- Leveraged success from SDL to drive True Reflections Awards – bespoke corporate awards for recognition of achievement. Took designs from sketch to CAD model and render. Sourced acrylic, metal and wood suppliers.
- Also developed in-house IP with an innovative ski lock device. I was fully involved in the research, concept design, development and prototyping. Awarded Runner Up in the Northern Futures 2010 competition (3D Design category).
Vax Ltd. - Product Development Engineer (02/09 - 01/10)
- Product research and development of vacuum cleaner products for the UKs number one (volume) floorcare brand.
- CAD design, prototyping and testing to implement technology or prove theory on live projects.
- Engineering support to the Service Organisation, creating detailed service drawings to support the worldwide network of service agents.
- Developed service documentation to make it easier for engineers to service each product – grouping items according to how the product was serviced.
- Rationalised full accessory range, reducing number of unique product designs to make aftermarket support more cost effective, whilst retaining design integrity (sample comparison and testing involved).
- Daily correspondence with Chinese manufacturers and suppliers.
CCD Design & Ergonomics Ltd. - Student Design Consultant (07/06 – 05/07)
- Designed safety-critical control rooms and bespoke workstations.
- Dealt with major clients such as Network Rail, Eurostar and BAA.
- Created numerous CAD drawings, full-scale trial models and developed workstation ergonomics.
- Initiated self-led project to develop modular storage.

- Final year project – an innovative mood light developed from concept to realised design ready for mass production.
- Fabricated and engineered two fully working prototypes
- Displayed product at the annual Festival of Design and received significant interest due to commercial potential.
- Patent applied for, and in partnership with the university, attempted to find a route to market. Unfortunately, re-location and a full time position made it impractical to pursue further.
