FIT Thesis Collection 2012

Inspiration for my thesis collection originated from urban bicycling, as the first look includes a ripstop dress with a removable backpack component.

The second look in the collection makes a statement of the performance market making a strong turn into a lifestyle-oriented market. The combination of the raglan and set-in sleeves provides a natural ventilation system for the wearer. The interior component of the windbreaker complements the tailored transparent shell, with bust darts and classic collar. The technical ponte knit pant has a great elasticity for cycling, yet has the presentation of a formal pant.

The final look was an experimentation with die-cutting leather. A technical knit jacket inspired by the classic trench and shaped sleeve hem complements the look.
