Description

Adidas didn t do any gymnastic shoes for the last thirty years.
Because the market didn t evolve since then, everything had to be done from scratch.
I was given the mission to come up with the first modern-aged gymnastic shoe and that has been both a great technical challenge and a design-dream come true.
It was first shown at the Beijing Olympic Games.
Taking the inner construction outside of the shoe allowed the inner part to be smooth and became the visual base of the outer shell.
