EXPERIENCE Since September 2005 Sallanches (Fr) Quechua (DECATLON) Now at the foot of the "Mont Blanc", I am responsible for the design of the summer footwear range. l handle projects from the start, through the design development stages (trends, design, components, colors, prototype development in Asia) to product launch. Our aim at Quechua is to design mountain equipement for the people who enjoy the mountains whatever their level, age and fortune... I am also often involved in innovation worshops. March 2001 to August 2005 Roissy (Fr) Daewoo electronics Europe Design Center Senior Designer. Design of devices for the european consumer electronics market ; Brown goods (TV, VCR/DVD, Audio…) and white goods (microwave ovens, refrigerators, cleaners…). February 1998 to February 2001 Nevers (Fr) LOOK ski bindings (Rossignol group) First design approach of the new low and mid range binding and definition of the specifications for the design consultants. Design of ski/binding interfaces such as maxflexII, of the race toe piece and various accessories using pro-Engineer and pro-CDRS. Commitment in a project team for a new ski/boot/binding global concept within the whole Rossignol group. Management of the product range cosmetic improvement. Three years professionnel experience as an industriel designer, in commitment with other departments and very close to the products. Learning of a creative way to design products, integrating all the design complexity ; social concern, technology, materials, marketing and strategy. Improvement of my general culture and technical knowledge. April-June 1994 Glasgow (Scotland) Student exchange in Glasgow School of Art, product design department, 3 monts. Confrontation with design in a different country and culture. Practice of English for three months. July 1993 Ankara (Turkey) METU uniniversity Summer school; design and touism. Reflexion about tourism and presentation of the ideas to the turkish ministry of tourism. 4 weeks. Application of the social dimention of design in a particular field.
