We marked out four milestone creative positions to create a "compensation career path" of sorts. It reveals the pacing and range of pay in and between creative fields. Some interesting points... The fields of Fashion Design and Interaction / Web Design are exceptional for their great pay range. Architecture is notable for its overall short salary span but also for the little room there is left at the top of its practice for salary increases. Senior Interaction / Web Designers don't make much more than those below them considering the profession's overall pay range. The milestone positions fall evenly along the salary span of only one field; Graphic Design - perhaps it is a more disciplined discipline?
