We recently relaunched our Portfolio Statistics Tool. This new reporting tool presents traffic and activity in your portfolio in several different formats. You can get an overall view of traffic to all of your projects, or you can zero in on an individual project. You also have information about your overall visibility including how many times your portfolio appears in search results, how many clicks your web links get, and views of your landing and resume pages. In addition to the line graph, a pie chart displays your top five projects, and shows the percentage of traffic to each one. Finally, a table lists the page views of all your projects over the course of one month, six months, and one year. Details about each of the elements on this dashboard are below.
You can find the link to the Statistics tool under the Activity tab after logging into your account.
The line graph lets you select three different date ranges; the previous two weeks, three months, and one year. The two week date range shows your your traffic broken down by day. The three month date range breaks it down by week, and the one year date range breaks it down by month. Hovering over a point on the graph shows the details for that particular period of time.
The default selection shows the page views for all of your projects. You can also see the number of favorites and comments. Use the drop down menu to change from 'all projects' to an individual project. Once you've done that you can then see views, favorites and comments for that project only.
The Personal Stats section shows the number of views of your Home and Resume page. The Home page is the landing page to your portfolio, linked to from search results and also from your personal URL. In this section you can also see information on new followers, how many times your portfolio has come up in search results, and the number of links clicked in your portfolio. The 'Links Clicked' count refers to the number of times someone clicked one of the links listed under your title at the top of your page.
In the "All Project Views" table you can click on a row to see the cover image for a given project.
You can sort the "All Project Views" table in ascending and descending order by clicking on the appropriate column heading. The pie graph to the left shows the pages views, and percentage of traffic for each of your top five projects.
