Portfolio Display Options

Our new Display Options tool provides our members with more control over how to display their portfolio. We're launching this tool with two new options - a grid option for your thumbnails and a slideshow option for your projects. You now have a choice of four different ways to show your work. The tool provides a preview of how your portfolio home page will look as well as a preview of how the individual project pages will look. Details on how change your display options on this page are below.

You can find the link to the Display Options under the Portfolio tab after logging into your account.

The Display Options tool shows you the different choices available. The default option for accounts is called FORM FACTOR. With this option project thumbnails are displayed as variable height images using a "Masonry" display. Individual projects are presented with all images, files and text on a single page. Each choice in the selection bar gives you a visual preview of how the pages work, along with a short text explanation of how it works. Your current display option is labeled as "(currently selected)".

To preview a different display option, just click on the icon and your portfolio will change in the preview window automatically.

To view how an individual project will display with the chosen view, just click on the "Project Preview" button on the left. You can also click on a project thumbnail to see how that project will look.

The biggest change is the ability to display your individuals projects as a single-image slideshow with a thumbnail navigation at the top. The left and right arrows on your keyboard will allow you to advance to the next image as well as hovering over the image and clicking on the next and previous arrows displayed.

Once you've found a display option that you're happy with, click on the "Select" button to change your portfolio display.

Why is it that I have only 1 choice, which is form factor?

It would be nice to have an option that does the Masonry effect inside the project as well as outside. I find this view gives a bit more of a Pinterest type "snapshot" of the work inside a project.

Impressive! Some suggestions and ideas; 1. Could we have project assets (images & videos) centred aligned in "DESCENDER" style! 2. We should have an Editable text area as asset as well. So that one can easily elaborate the asset or can divide assets by description. Like as we add an image, video etc we should have an option to add an empty text area. Which should render below the last uploaded asset and can be moved around later. Where we can add more detailed description of the above asset. And the text area should be format-able like we can be able to style the text like paragraph, heading etc. 3. We can also have dividers to separate different sections in a single projects. 4. We can also have some project level customization options as well.

I can only see the option for Form Factor too. I don't like it, it's too shouty. I like the idea of having a customised format though. Could you please include the option of the old style thumbnails? Thanks.

I've only got Form Factor in my Display Options bar. How may I find/use other Display Options? I'd really like to show more of my work here, Thanks, Coroflot!

I also like the Bassline option, BUT. The user needs to see all of the images when clicking on the arrow for the slideshow. The way that it jumps, the viewer may not realize that they are missing 5 or 6 images each time.

i loved the new avatar of coroflot.. upload here is now much easier like cream :D :) thank u engineers :) u have done really a grt job yar... and also i am trying to understand your this "CORO classic" theme.

I like the Bassline option, but ALL the thumbnail images at the top need to 'pop up' (for all display options) instead of semi-transparent look. The current look is taking the information away and makes it hard for the user to know if there are more images that they can click on for same project. Hope it will be fixed soon :)
