Industrial & Crafts Designer — Miami, FL
I am a native Floridian and 2006 alumni from Design and Architecture Senior High school; located in Miami, Florida. As I followed my passion towards design, I decided to study abroad at Lorenzo De Medici College in Florence, Italy for furniture design, spring of 2009. After several years of design education and accumulating varieties of valuable experiences, I am proud to have completed my degree at The College for Creative Studies in 2012 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design and a minor in Crafts. All I have done so far has prepared me to become a person who always builds strong bonds with others while maintaining the respect of producing incredible work. There will never be an end point for my desire to create challenging designs with the thought of artistry and the care of the environment.
I seek to accomplish a body of work that drives optimistic thinking, become responsibly aware, and become totally engaged. This is done through the combination of art influence and the discovering intellectual development of the everyday experience. In the future, I plan to continue my education for a Master’s Degree in Three Dimensional Design at Crambroke Academy of Arts. So I can deeply study and understand the complexities of how the objects around us shape our mental growth, social responsibilities, and self-worth.

Design philosophy |
I work passionately on project driven towards positive change. Projects which never forgets about the impact they will have on the environment, and how it is truly benefiting our way of living, and can it change today’s social ideology of consumption; while working towards a more responsible and ethical approach. In short, Design is my lifestyle and my lifestyle is to challenge all that needs improvement. Create art, not landfills!

Chris Eschenburg | Vice President, General Manager AOL Autos at AOL
Steven worked on a project for AOL Autos that wowed everyone at the company. He came fully prepared for each and every meeting. So much so, that we felt unprepared in matching his attention to detail. His work was well thought out, had a deep meaning behind why he designed it the way he did, and ultimately, it was beautiful work that was recognized as such by our entire group. He seems to have leapfrogged some of his peers and will be a great asset to whoever hires him.
