Coroflot Connects Event

Recruiting and staffing for senior-level interaction, front-end and UX professionals is more challenging than ever. Candidates with the right skills and experience are in high demand, and are almost always fully employed. In addition, they come from a wide variety of backgrounds, and today are working across every industry. This means there are very few places to connect with them more than one at a time. Fortunately for you, Coroflot Connects is one of those places, and we're happy to host the second annual CC event in February, 2012.

What is Coroflot Connects?
Coroflot Connects is a two-hour networking and recruiting event held in conjunction with Interaction 12, the annual conference produced by the Interaction Design Association (IxDA). The event consists of a hosted reception for conference attendees, along with tables hosted by participating recruiters. The 150-200 conference attendees who attend come looking for work and also looking to hire. Participating recruiters get to meet and talk to everyone, even those who think they are not looking for a job.

Why are we doing Coroflot Connects?
Here at Coroflot we're big supporters of the IxDA. We believe in what they do and like they way they do it. We've been involved in their conference since the very beginning. 2012 marks our second installment of Coroflot Connects as part of the conference. We do it as a service to our clients, facilitating direct connections with a large audience of hard-to-reach candidates. We also promote the event extensively, which provides additional exposure for the participating clients and their job opportunities. We do it as a service to the IxDA, as a way to stay involved with their community and to support the conference financially and programatically. We do it as a service to the community, for IxDA conference attendees as well as those who can't attend the conference but can get value from our presentation of the event.

What are the benefits?
The event is a condensed meet-and-greet session with a large group of high caliber UX professionals. This is a once-a-year opportunity to put this audience together, with participants from all over the country and world. The attendees have very diverse backgrounds and come from a wide variety of industries. For our clients it is an opportunity to meet and get to know a large number of potential future hires in a very short amount of time. This saves money as your travel time is limited, and does not require a week's absence as well.
