25' x 13' American Flag Collage - I developed & directed this community art project after 9-11. Students (K-8) expressed their feelings and prayers on paper and glued their art on a 25' x 13' black background which had an inspirational bible scripture scrolled on it.
We gave it to Squad 41, a fire station in the Bronx, NY where seven fire fighters lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
The image of this flag was published through the AP wire, in a memorial magezine, "911", and a poster for Scholastic Publishing Co.
