Vodafone Japan (now Softbank) and Mitsubishi Electric collaborated on a new series of mobile phones that symbolized the "fun, urban, young man" V401D was conceived with Zaku characteristics in mind, incorporating an industry first touch sensitive side panel for camera zoom and navigating menu with an edgy feel.
