Saab Oil Bottle
This is the embodiment of the Saab Aero X in the form of a 1 litre oil bottle. The opening mechanism of the bottle is also representative of Saab as it is inspired by the ejector seat mechanism of a fighter jet.
The stance and profile of the bottle is inspired by the upward, thrusting motion of fighter jets. It’s designed to look like it’s about the take off. Added to this are part-lines and graphic elements taken directly from the Aero X. The whole thing comes together with an opening mechanism which is representative of a fighter jet ejector seat; a collar is pulled back which makes a black shaft rise up revealing the oil spout.
