"Binney" Pencil on paper. As a gift to my father, this is a portrait of his mentor, who I happen to be named after. If you don't find this interesting, you have no soul.
"Hoops" Charcoal and pencil on paper. This is another gift to my sister and her husband. They're both basketball coaches, and the game is a large part of both of their lives. The quote was chosen for two reasons: 1. Because they both use John Wooden's Pyramid of Success as a basis of their coaching philosophy. 2. Because if you're a hoops coach and you aren't inspired by John Wooden in any way, you should quit.
A closeup of the ball.
"Sweat" Pencil on paper; dash of Photoshop. Bit of a self portrait. Part of a portrait-a-day phase that predictably lasted about a month.
"TM" Charcoal and pencil on paper
A semi-abstract portrait for my friends' wedding.
This is an old one from the archives. Like the next one, it was an exercise in illustration. The idea was to convey the mindset of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder as if the illustration was going to lead an article in a magazine or medical journal. Y'know. Like you do.
Same idea, different outcome. Magazine illustration.

Drawings

I draw. These are drawings. Culled from various places. Doodles, portraits, full-on projects, whatever falls out of my head.
