So there's this "alternative movie poster" movement going on. The great thing about it is that instead of promoting the film commercially, there's a wonderful revisionism. Trivial or mundane parts of the movie can be lovingly magnified and made the focus of the poster. They're like love letters to the movies by people who have seen them a thousand times.

Or, people get bored and think they can do better than the studios. Whichever.
