Lotus Set - Lotus received second prize in the Miele kitchen of the future competition 2009. The Lotus set is a dynamic and flexible mobile cooking system. It offers an elegant alternative to the conventional static hob. Each piece is powered using resonant inductive coils hidden beneath the counter top. Providing wireless power to the pieces eliminated cables and wires.
Mobility - As the Lotus set is wireless it can be arranged to suit any meal, occasion or meal. The user can make the kitchen work around them rather than them working around their kitchen.
cleaning - Each Lotus piece is water sealed so after use they can be rinsed in the sink. This also means there are no groves or split lines in the counter top to collect grease and dirt.
Storage/display - The is stackable so it can be easily stored so it does not take up prime counter top space when its not in use.
