David has worked in the design and engineering industry for around 16 years and has been involved with projects within the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates and most recently, Germany, where he currently resides. He has spent much of his working life helping to create products where high levels of quality and exclusivity is demanded, these include sailing & motor yachts; cruise vessels; business & commercial aircraft and private residence interiors. David is a ‘practical creative’ who likes fresh ideas and motivated people. He has a strong mechanical background, eye for detail and is skilled as a craftsman, having spent much of his spare time restoring and maintaining aircraft, most recently returning a 1940's classic biplane to the air

This update of a classic WW2 training aircraft incorporated modern avionics and some restyled construction details making best use of modern materials & techniques. Nominated responsible for interior areas during the refit period, October 2008 through May 2009, continued to troubleshoot and coordinate interior reworks and modification.

    Using my existing in-depth knowledge and experience of the project gained during my previous employment, my role included coordination and detailed design advisor to the existing on-site project team and quality inspection while continuing to maintain close relationships with the owner’s team and designer.
