Freelance exhibit / museum designer
David B. Nau
I have brought the talent and training of a fine artist to commercial applications. Where most artists don't understand and value the sales process, I excelled at maintaining design relevance while exhibiting my creative ability. The ability to use light as the focal point of design, and gets the results clients were looking for. I'm never content with the skills I have, but am always seeking out new training and techniques, recently I have learned to use gemstone based watercolors as part of a collaborative endeavor with my wife.
As an employee, I thrived in a truly collaborative environment that encouraged contribution rather than competition. I am known for reliability. I can run with a set of criteria while teaching tips and trick to less experienced members of the design team. I still stay current in both design trends and the technology available to support the latest ideas; this has made me a truly formidable team member in bid situations.
I have brought in-depth industry knowledge combined with consummate design talent and delivered them with a level of integrity often missing in our highly competitive field.
