Task Lamp

This is a task lamp I designed with these goals in mind: aesthetically pleasing form, environmentally conscious materials, increase workflow efficiency, absence of user-error and compatibility with technology.

Material List:
• Bamboo or Hardwood/Plantation Grown Teak
• Polished Recycled Aluminum/Steel
• Lead-Free PVC Wiring
• LED Lightbulbs (low heat, low energy consumption)

A USB port is also present for the charging of external mobile devices (smartphone/tablet etc.)

An extra USB port would also be present on the back to allow the lamp to automatically turn on when the user woke his/her computer (i.e., computer is in sleep mode > user taps the keyboard to wake computer > when computer wakes lamp turns on). This could also become a primary power source. For a brighter, more powerful lamp, a removable wall-socket power source is also included.
