About
A door is a most intriguing object. It is the first impression of what
lies beyond; a portal to possibility, to opportunity. The art of interior
design is also filled with opportunity - opportunity to plan ahead and
to create spaces that meet both the needs and desires of the occupants,
expressing unique personalities and delighting the senses. Displayed in this collection are primarily residential spaces with a focus on aging in place. -

BFA Interior DesignThe Art Institute of Portland1998 - 2011I began schooling on a part-time basis while I still had kids at home. I took off a few years, returning as a full-time student later. Loved my time there--great teachers, exposure to designers in the real world, and great peers. I would recommend it to anyone serious about design!
