Tensegrity - Based on the theories of Buckminster Fuller, Tensegrity combines basic principles of tension and compression and presents them in an irregular form where no two compression members ever touch. For my design, I sought to experiment by using flourescent lights as compression members, floating on a glossy opaque box that also holds all the ballasts and wiring for the lights.
