Conceptualized and executed successful global print and web advertising campaigns for a wide variety of DC Comics titles including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Watchmen and The Losers.
Key creative team member of DC Comics Custom Publishing Division. Developed integrated advertising campaigns and book packaging publication design for highly visible external clients including Lego, Bionicle, THQ, Nintendo, Bandi Namco, Warner Home Video, ABC, National Geographic, Mucinex, and Colgate.
Initiated innovative branding strategy for the first-ever DC Comics teenage
girl-targeted graphic novel imprint MINX. Campaign launch included marketing premiums and integrated advertising partnered with the external agency Alloy.
Independently entrusted to develop all marketing campaigns in promotion of DC Comics and Warner Bros. licensed children’s comic book titles including Teen Titans, Looney Tunes and Scooby-Doo.
Redesigned DC Comics section in Diamond Distributors’ monthly sales catalog Previews. This internationally distributed publication is DC Comics’ primary selling tool reaching both retailers and consumers. Implementing the innovative, streamlined design increased product sales through a more dynamic and eye-catching presentation. Supervision of junior staff to execute the new catalog workflow resulted in cost savings and reduced project completion time.

Created innovative brand identity and style guides for the award-winning children’s television shows Bear in the Big Blue House, The Hoobs (U.K. children’s TV show) and Fraggle Rock. The effectiveness of these creative solutions led to hundreds of products that reinforced the core aesthetic of the brands and were sold worldwide, generating millions in revenue and sustaining The Jim Henson company as an industry leader.
Led design direction for domestic and international consumer products divisions and global marketing team and carried creative concepts through packaging, logos, marketing materials and product graphics. Properties included Jim Henson’s Muppets, Muppet Babies, The Dark Crystal, Farscape and The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss.
