The Space Diamond deserves its name for two reasons! Number one, it comes straight from outer space! Well, at least it seems so. And reason two are the caustics and refractions created by the material acrylic. The steps are wall mounted and topped by a sheet of glass to protect the sensitive material. This stair is my personal favorite, since it's the only one designed and built this way, yet the most mesmerizing. Possibly, some decades ahead, yet it rings the bell towards modern stair design. The very special feature is the LED light in the wall that creates an incredible effect at night. No photography can ever even come close to the real thing! See more at
