Interior and Exterior Designer — Turin, Italy
Currently working as an interior/exterior style specialist within Fiat Centro Stile. Enjoying the opportunity to design for a number of brands and diverse vehicles.
I enjoy all aspects of design from initial research right through to fine tuning the end model. I am comfortable within a team and as an individual to develop work from a brief from research to CAD surfacing in Alias. I am quick to learn and always ready to grow from criticism.

2008 What_Box? Events Organisation
As an additional module in my final year I opted to do a Graduate Enterprise Module in which myself and four others had to start a company up from scratch, maintain it and liquify it within the year. We proposed our business concept as a fundraising company that offered an intermediary link between events and sponsors with an ambition of promoting the North-East’s up and coming design talent. The business plan we constructed was shortlisted in the top twenty above 253 other plans. It was a valuable excercise and I was able to gain a lot of different skills from this module.
2007 JCB Industrial Design Department
After a successful 5 week placement last summer I was invited back for a 7 month placement within the department to further improve my skills. This was an amazing opportunity for me as it allowed me to concentrate on improving myself in all aspects of design. I was placed on live projects which ran at the same time so time management was key to keeping up with the deadlines. I improved my people skills as I had to work with engineers to develop my designs. My knowledge of package layout and engineering constraints was also improved massively as my design work had to be feasable. The placement was a great opportunity and the Industrial Design team were great to work with.
2006 JCB Industrial Design Department
During my Summer break I went on a 5 week voluntary placement in the JCB design department. While I was there I worked on both personal and live projects in a team environment that required the use of all my design skills.
