I believe good design communicates something. Whether that something is an idea, an emotion, or a call to action, the message will be lost in a poorly executed final product. Because of this, it is critical that a designer take into consideration every aspect of how their art will be reproduced and design with purpose. Purpose to communicate. Purpose to inspire. Purpose to be seen clearly and accurately in the media intended.

RECOMMENDATIONS
"For two years, Kirstan was my direct report in the art department at Weyerhaeuser Specialty Products {now International Paper}. I got to know her very well and it was a pleasure to be her manager. Kirstan is a natural leader and in many respects, the hub of the department. When I was out of the office, I always left her in charge. She's conscientious, has a strong sense of responsibility and an impressive work ethic. Technically, she's as sound as anyone I have ever met. If you have a question about Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop, no one knows the programs better. Though the projects the department handled lacked much room for creative license, she rose above that, even to the point of developing a plan and then implementing the formation of a creative department. That department has expanded the entire business and the creative they are doing there leads the industry. Kirstan is an outstanding artist and designer and I highly recommend her."
Ron Miller - Marketing Manager at Freelin-Wade
“Kirstan Rocks! She's been my partner in the creative dept. for the last two years and together we've really kicked some serious butt. She's a wonderful designer and her technical skills are exceptional. She's extremely well organized and takes on new challenges with a fierceness. Whenever I have technical issues or need to bounce some creative ideas off someone she's been there for me. She's also the coolest and most down to earth person you could ever hope to work with.”
William Sherwin - Co-director of Creative Department; Inspired Concepts (a division of International Paper)
"Ms Graham attended several of my classes and always demonstrated a commitment and responsibility for critical thought and engaging in tough issues. She not only achieved great success in pushing her knowledge to greater heights, but also transformed her whole person in the process. Students like Kirstan not only have the ability to be successful in any endeavor they pursue, but are also able to navigate the personal terrains of life with admirable grace and kindness. I give Ms. Graham my highest recommendation.”
