National Aquarium in Baltimore summer 1998 - winter 2003
Exhibit Designer/Manager of Exhibit Operations. Design development and management responsibilities for projects $1M and smaller. Designed new exhibits from concept through contract documents and construction management. Managed daily operations of exhibit fabrication staff and coordinated exhibit maintenance in conjunction with all departments.
Designed and engineered animal handling functions for major renovations which were safe, structural and hidden to the public. Redesigned or modified existing exhibits for maintenance efficiency and improved function. Traditional sketching, drafting and rendering; plus ARCHiCADD modeling, fly-throughs and construction documents.

Project Designer. Designed casework, specialty exhibit structures and physical interactives. Prepared construction documents for fabrication. Worked within project teams on many of the museum and exhibit contracts developed by D|G.

Columbus Center spring 1995 - fall 1997
Chief of Design. Project management responsibility for $3.4M. Completed Design Development Package. Developed and maintained the graphic identity within the center and throughout the Hall of Exploration. Worked with Maltbie and Associates to review, redesign and install exhibit structures, finishes, graphics and signage under budget. Assisted the
programming department to more effectively present lab and demo cart activities.
The Newark Museum fall 1993 - spring 1995
Staff Exhibit Designer. Designed object orientated displays in conjunction with various curators. Organized artifacts and texts/labels for the presentation of temporary and permanent gallery shows of specific educational, cultural, scientific and artistic exhibits. Developed exhibit furniture, constructed artifact mounts; designed lighting, graphics and signage. Maintained supplies and materials for the Exhibit Department.
