Don is a passionate designer and founder of Don Brown Design, a full-service design & marketing co. From social media marketing to studio photography and everything in between, Don's services cover a wide range of disciplines. However, there is a common thread connecting them all: A love for design, creativity and visual communication. Don's love of design is derived from his passion for art. His father put a pencil and paper in front of him at the age of 2, and art has been a part of his life ever since. This passion has a direct connection to his illustration abilities and overall eye for creativity and visual communication. Don operates his design business out of the greater Philadelphia area. He services an international client list of nonprofits, small businesses, athletic leagues, and many others. Fusing contemporary design software with his uncanny illustration style makes Don a fan favorite and designer of choice.
Mobile App Design
Startup visual design business providing services to clients locally and internationally. Marketed services to consumers in a competitive digital environment.
Operated in the marketing department in a team environment, producing print and web designs for one of
the largest distributors of refrigeration, air conditioning and heating parts and equipment in North America.
Was responsible for the creation and distribution of marketing material to over 300 branches within the
company. Worked predominantly in InDesign, creating print and web flyers and stylesheets for company
brochures and presentation banners.
Operated in the Customer Care department communicating with current consumers, with the role of strengthening business relationships between consumer and company. Responsibilities included reviewing consumers’ web design services, recommending necessary adjustments, and providing an overall satisfactory consumer experience.
Hired as a summer intern within the marketing department developing visual templates and marketing
collateral while remaining consistent to company standards and best practices. Executed and presented
design decisions daily to the director of marketing. Designs completed included illustrations for locally funded newspapers, and infographics for the company website.
Earned a degree in graphic design communication. Studied additional creative practices such as illustration, photography and mobile app design.
