Arctic Offshore Platform - For our senior project at the University of Michigan, my team and I designed an offshore platform specifically for an arctic environment. The platform was designed to produce 150,000 barrels of oil per day, with an onboard storage capacity of 750,000 barrels. All facilities are enclosed to protect equipment and workers from the extreme cold.
