My old mailbox was looking sorry, so I made a new one out of scrap wood from a fence project. Laser cut house numbers, painted wrench for a flag.
A simple house number placard for my sanctuary. Cedar and stainless steel, laser cut.
A name placard I made for a buddy's wedding. He is from a wheat farming family, she is from a wine-grape growing family. I tried my best to blend the two backgrounds in a meaningful graphic. CNC'd cherry with a walnut oil finish,
A view of my new backyard, showing several of my woodworking and design projects. Shown are: Cedar fence, cedar patio stools, concrete and bamboo patio table, and douglas fir wedding arch.

The wedding arch lives in our backyard now. I think I may want to grow some hops or grapes on it in the springtime.

I designed the arch to be able to be disassembled for ease of transportation and set up. We had tight timelines for the wedding ceremony and facilities access. I went with joinery instead of fasteners both for aesthetics and ease of assembly.

A drafting briefcase I designed and made while working as a remodeling and installation designer for kitchens and bathrooms. This was one of several fabrication and design jobs I had while an Industrial Design student.
