Chameleon - This camera was designed for young people. The thought was to have a fun looking camera that was easy to use and easy to hold. Through ideation sketches, color studies and refinement sketches a final solution was constructed.
Davas - This is a high-end entertainment stand for consumer's expensive entertainment equiptment. The main structural elements are made of steel. The shelves are frosted glass. The shaft is set up like a weight bench, holes run every 4" on the sides. The shelves are held in place with L-shaped steel bars through the holes in the shaft. The shaft is hollow and 1" cord slots are cut into the front. This allows for cords to go up or down the full length and not be seen . For heavy devices, two support bars are offered. They lock into the shaft and run up at an angle. They then lock into the shelf.
Luminator - The head of the flash light turns so that if placed on the ground the user can adjust where the light is going so the user now has two hands free to work in tight areas. The shape comes from a sketch of an arm which was further refined till a final concept was decided. The final concept fits the hand in a couple of different positions. Elastomer grips were added to prevent slipping and add to the overall design.
Elite Q - This project was to change the look of a P.D.A. I decided to change the shape of the product so that it would be comfortable in both hands and more attractive than a square with rounded edges. The screen protector flips back out of the way. The pen pulls out of the top right. The phone option is on when the microphone is popped out at the bottom.
