RPS - Argent D'Artois - This was a drawing, done for a friend, of one of her webcomic's characters. Her webcomic is called "Rock Paper Scissors," or abbreviated to "RPS." The character's name is Argent D'Artois. The drawing--done in Copic markers--belongs to me, but the character and comic belong to my friend. OSU Barometer - Cartoon Style - This is a sample piece of work that I did and submitted with my application to be a cartoonist for The Barometer newspaper at Oregon State University.
Family Christmas Bookmarks - These are bookmarks that I made in Adobe Photoshop for my family for a past Christmas. Brian and Lily are my parents, while Francesca, Kevin, and Jessica are my siblings. Uriel is Francesca's husband, and therefore, my brother-in-law.
Still Life Study - This was an assignment for a class called "Applications of Design Theory," taken at Oregon State University. We were given a series of objects to find in our houses. Then we were to put them together and draw them using our Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils.
Love In Spring - This was a quick drawing that I did in a program called "Paint Tool SAI."
Kuragehime - This is a birthday card that I drew for my cousin. He likes a Japanese cartoon show called "Kuragehime (Jellyfish Princess)," so I drew him a card with the show's characters on it, using Copic markers.
Don't Cry - An drawing that I did in pencil and Copic markers.
Miss Muffet - This is a black and white drawing that I did in a program called "Paint Tool SAI." I was inspired by the nursery rhyme character, Miss Muffet.
Beautiful - This is a birthday card that I painted with watercolors for my mother. The garment that the woman is wearing is called an "ao dai"--a traditional Vietnamese dress. The Chinese characters up in the top, left corner translate to the word, "beautiful." My mother is a beautiful person whom I love very much.
Relax - This is a drawing that I did in Copic markers. I wanted to try and create a painterly feel with the coloring.
Sky and River - This is a drawing that I drew for a user on DeviantART for Christmas. I drew her two characters, Sky (left) and River (right), in a program called "Paint Tool SAI."
Sweety - This is a drawing that I did in Photoshop one day, after listening to a song called "Sweety" by Clazziquai Project (a Korean band).
The Garden of Eden - This is a drawing that I did in Photoshop, working without lineart and trying to create a scale-like texture on the snake.
The Threads of Friendship - This was a drawing that I did for two of my very close friends. I drew the three of us, connected by the "threads of friendship" forever. I painted this with watercolors.
Roll the Die - This is a drawing that I drew in 2010 on my own time. I drew the lineart traditionally, then scanned it in and colored it in Photoshop.
Valentine's Day - This is a drawing that I drew of myself (left) and my friend (right) in 2010, using Copic markers. It was for Valentine's Day.
Night - This is a drawing that I did in 2010 in Photoshop, using my Wacom Intuos3 graphic drawing tablet.
WANTED: Seven Deadly Sins - This was for a comic concept of mine, based around the Seven Deadly Sins. I drew seven characters and named them with puns.
Bow and Tie to the Rescue - This is a drawing that I drew of myself (female) and my friend (male) as superheroes. It was a gift for my friend. I used Copic markers to color this.
Gavin - This is a drawing that I did in Photoshop of my friend's character, Gavin.

Light and Darkness - This is an illustration that I did in 2008, using the concept of light and darkness. I used watercolors to paint it, and Prismacolor pencils to enhance the textures and colors of the piece.
Cruel is the Black Widow - This is an ink work that I did in 2009, using the concept of a black widow and her prey.
Beauty Comes in Purple - This is a watercolor painting that I did for my sister as a Christmas present.
A Bedtime Story - This is an ink work that I drew in 2008, with the concept of fantasy and fairy tales.
Fashion Design Cover - This is the cover that I made for an "Intro to Fashion Design" class that I took at the Sabin-Schellenberg Professional Technical Center in 2008.
Shadow Puppet - This is an ink work that I drew in 2008, with the concept of making one's shadow into a puppet.
Japanese Parasol - This is a drawing that I drew in Photoshop with my Wacom Intuos3 graphic tablet. I was inspired by Japanese kimonos, brocade fabric, and umbrellas.
Twin Archangels - This is an ink work that I drew in 2008, with the concept of twin angels.
The Princess - This is an ink work that I drew in 2007. I simply started drawing with a black brush pen, and this is what came out of it.
Birthday Fish - This is a drawing that I did in Photoshop for my father's birthday in 2006. He likes fish, so I drew him a fish.
Forfeiture - Done with Winsor and Newton watercolor paints on watercolor paper.
Genesis - The concept of the drawing is about an angel who fell from the sky and died (I guess his type of angel is able to die). His veins turned into the roots of flowers which grew from his body. The blood on the ground is in the shape of a wing. I wanted to portray the idea that life can occur even in death. Done with Winsor and Newton watercolor paints on watercolor paper.
