Industrial Designer — Bangalore, India
Who am I?
A question I ask myself time and time again.
As a School kid, I would have defined myself as an Illustrator who was learning to draw like the betters of the Industry. I was an Artist who was more interested in drawing diagrams in exams than explaining about it.
As a CS Engineering, I would have defined myself as a Student who was interested in finding solutions to a problem with logical algorithms than someone who interprets the solutions as a program code. A student who was more interested in learning Engineering mechanics and Graphics than Coding languages.
As a UI Testing Consultant, I would have defined as a creative person searching for avenues of expression. I found myself lead towards Industrial Design as that platform.
As an Industrial Design prodigy, I would have defined myself as a upcoming Designer who was learning the various avenues of Design so as to choose the right path in design.
As an Industrial Designer with over 2 years experience, I now define myself as an Industrial Designer who is passionate about pushing and prodding at the very boundaries of design. A Designer who likes to assume various roles and responsibilities in exploring the various frontiers of Design. Someone who is happy at not just explorations, But also take the time necessary to become a master in the explored area.
In definition, I would call myself as a Designer who can assume any role/responsibility required to arrive at a solution be it as a Industrial, Product, Interaction, Graphic, Automotive designer or as a Researcher, Analyst, Sketcher, Modeller, Sculptor, Presenter, Spokesperson, Salesman, Manager.
