The greatest challenge was to develop a new line of cordless telephones produced in Brazil, with functional quality and less cost to the final costumer. The project counted with a wide reflection about the line of products and how the costs could be reduced. The solution was to use the same software platform, hardware components and interchangeable plastic parts for several products. The in house Research and Development, contributed to a lean production, reduced lead time and less material wasting, as result, the final costs are lower, even from the Asian competitors. IDEA Brasil 2010 Award Winner.
