The Quest for Immortality—Space-planned 10,000 square feet of gallery
space accommodating a nationally touring pre-packaged exhibit.

The High Museum of Art, Atlanta, GA
Reinstallation of Permanent Collections—Designed object and case layout
for artwork being thematically reinstalled into 3 floors of the Richard
Meier Building totaling 30,000 square feet of gallery space.

Brookgreen Gardens, Murray’s Inlet, SC
Change and Continuity—Designed and coordinated exhibit components
for this regional nature center located within a larger sculpture garden.



EXHIBIT DESIGN SKILLS

Analyzes museum needs, goals, and life/safety requirements
through comprehensive knowledge of Interior Design
methods and application.

Manages multiple exhibit design projects from conception
to completion within an established budget and deadline.

Collaborates and communicates cross-functionally with
museum departments, architects, lighting designers, and
graphic designers to devise and implement the exhibit
design, fabrication, and installation.

Interprets all exhibit content and components with
sensitivity to the museum’s mission, an object’s cultural
significance, and the visitor’s education and experience.

Formulates clear, coherent, and unified visual design by
asking questions, taking direction, and writing design
programs.

Presents exhibition design ideas and concepts via sketches,
drawing sets, and sample boards.

Completes gallery space-plans, object layout, casework
installation with respect to circulation, ADA requirements,
egress, lighting, and graphic elements.

Details object casework drawings including detail schedules,
case inventory, construction, and object mounting with
attention to object display, conservation, and security.

Produces sets of construction documents for exhibit
components for review, approval, and fabrication.

Specifies gallery finishes, paint palette, and wall construction
type, as well as solicits bids for competitive pricing of
materials and vendor services.

Directs cohesive exhibit identity and creates graphic
elements including object labels, text panels, and way-
finding signage.

Integrates sustainable practices, standards, and products in
design and specification of exhibit wherever possible.
