I lead the design and development of visual communications retail projects for clients nationwide. Projects are developed from initial ideas and concepts, into presentations, drawing packages, and mockups and physical prototypes for testing. 2D and 3D software is used to create output files for our in-house computer-controlled machinery, to revise and refine projects for large-scale production runs, and to guide our partner fabrication facilities. I also spend time researching new trends, testing materials, hardware, production methods & processes, designing for manufacture, and developing usage and install guides. SET is a visual creative agency with innovative ideas and a passion for execution. We ideate, design, build and execute all things retail.

I collaborate with project managers, creative teams, and vendors, to help translate creative vision into reality.

LIT is a retail marketing and manufacturing firm. We design, engineer, manufacture and install store fixtures and environments.

Designed and engineered everything from store fixtures and retail displays to tradeshow booths and large art-installations. It's always great to walk out the door into a shop and see things going together and becoming a reality.

Lots of work with all things metal. Designed parts, created drawings, and optimized files for in-house fabrication, client approval, and laser-cutting. Facilitated the production of custom metal work through the use of Solidworks and AutoCAD. Created and developed a Solidworks part library that allowed for quicker production of frequently built items. Optimized the production process for the use of Solidworks Sheet Metal tools.

Problem solved the process of making art. Designed and engineered a wide array of architectural lighting and themeing from glass, metals, wood and composites for specialized architectural installations. Collaborated with architects and other design professionals to produce works of lasting beauty. Clients and projects ranged from smaller residential items, to large-scale gaming, hospitality, and public arts installations.

Designed & sold custom cedar gates that were shipped nationwide. Managed a custom virtual parts library, and improved manufacturing processes.

Designed and built custom cabinetry and furniture for local high-end builders. Responsibilities included most aspects of woodworking, with a focus on custom cabinet making and custom furniture production. Worked with a wide variety of hardwoods, sheet goods, and cabinetry components to create and accomplish design goals. Involved in all stages of the design and build process from hand sketches and CAD drawings to cutting, shaping, sanding, and the final finishing and installation.
