Led the design for this cold weather car seat cover and stroller hand muff. These products were designed as extension of the 3-season Foot Muff collection. I worked closely with a sample sewer to create mockups, tested fit on all major car seat brands and strollers, created technical specs with detailed construction drawings, and developed prototypes with a factory in China.
The Car Seat Cover design is unique because it has a fold-out collar to let in air on warmer days and a roll-away feature to make it easy for parents to take infants in and out of the car seat without removing the cover. The interior is lined with plush fleece to keep infants warm in cold weather.
The Stroller Hand Muff has a clear front pocket for the parents' cell phone or other essentials. The interior is lined with plush sherpa to keep hands warm while pushing the stroller outdoors in cold weather.
