Pacer is a dog running and walking service that connects people who want to start an exercise program along with dog owners who need someone else to run their dogs. For the dog owners, Pacer provides a personalized and enhanced dog exercising experience. They are able to select where the dog runner takes the dog to and the running route is trackable. This booking system informs the owners where their dogs are being taken to. The service makes efforts to build a trust between the dog owners and dog runners by having the dog runner’s profile online and a review. Since this service pairs the same dog runner and dog owner, over time they are able to gain trust between each other. The service is also insured and bonded. The RFID chip embedded in the Pacer tag tracks the dog and send an automatic text update to the dog owner when they pass one of the stations.
