Resume

I am a Brazilian designer and researcher, currently doing a MPhil/PhD at Plymouth University, England, with a Capes scholarship from the Brazilian Government. Since my MA in Arts in the University of Brasília (2004-2006) I have been working with a natural rubber that was developed by the Chemistry Laboratory (Tecbor/Lateq/UnB) and has been produced by Amazon communities. The collection Organic Jewellery is my main authorial work. And
my doctoral research is addressed to the creative transformation of this rubber by the productive communities from the forest and how a collaborative and ethical approach in design can contribute for the sustainability of their cultural, social, economical and environmental context.
