Pirates of the Caribbean - This is a montage of backgrounds that I created for a Verizon micro-site that was co-branding with POTC. I created them based on style frames from Moxie using C4d. Sound design was by Chris Basta. Each background was designed to loop after five seconds. The site is here: http://pirates.vzwshop.com/

As a result of Corus Entertainment acquiring the rights to Disney's children's programming and associated brands, the Disney XD network in Canada was re-branded as to Chrgd. They hired Primal Screen to design and develop a complete broadcast package for their re-launch. I was brought in to help animate the packages. This MOS bump in features very loud headphones.

History Channel - Promo - I was the lead 3d animator and compositer on this co-branded promo for History Channel's show, "How The States Got Their Shapes". The design and additional animation was done by Lauren Fundora under the creative direction of Jeff Boortz. Editorial was done by Scott Salamon. Sound design was done by Riot Atlanta.

The importance of Keytruda can't be stressed enough. It was directly involved in helping Jimmy Carter become cancer-free, and the people behind it need a good pat on the back. This motion story was destined as a meeting opener for Merck.

I animated 3d paper-like characters to be used in training kits for Regions Bank. Art At Joe's designed the storyboard,character T-poses, and facial animation. I then mapped the textures onto rigged geometry and animated the shots in Cinema 4D with final compositing in After Effects.

I was very fortunate to get to design and animate this video that was part of a corporate meeting in Germany. Merck wanted to inspire and inform their sales team as to the extent of their pharmaceutical legacy. After the initial storyboard phase, I ended up combining two looks into one, stream-of-consciousness style presentation.

Georgia Power - Fireflies - I built and animated the lightning bugs in 3ds Max using noise controllers for position, rotation, and light emission. Using the parent null, I was able to populate and position them in each scene. Tracking and compositing was done in After Effects with Deron Hoffmeyer animating the endtag.

CentWire - Go Green - In this spot, I was responsible for lead animation with design by Riot Atlanta. It is a mix of 3d Studio objects and projected cards composited in After Effects. Titles and additional elements by D. Hoffmeyer.

WHTI - Ski - The actors were wearing rigs that surrounded their heads on which I tracked ID card textures and added reflection and shadow passes. Rotoscoping was necessary whenever their hands overlapped the rig.

Season of Disney - I animated this show open for Travel Channel's show, "Season of Disney". It is a mix of 3d animation and 2d card projections composited in After Effects with a matching camera.

accessAtlanta - This is a spot I designed and animated with a nod to Terry Gilliam's work for Monty Python. The AJC wanted to promote their web portal, "AccessAtlanta.com" in a graphically stylized way utilizing stock footage. Entirely done in After Effects, it features a VO line from freshman VO talent, Sullivan Holmes.

I was very fortunate to be given the task of re-branding the Atlanta based entertainment network Bounce TV. A year after launching they made the decision to refresh their overall broadcast look. The direction was defined as 'pure entertainment', and my team delivered an energetic design and motion package to fit.

HTC Wildfire - I created this animation in Cinema 4d and After Effects. The stock fire/smoke came from Action Essentials 2 and the flares from Optical Flares; both from Video Copilot. Sound design was done by Chris Basta.

Dish Network has an interactive function that allows a viewer to access Weather Channel forecast at any point during a program. An animated flatscreen tv reinforces the idea of being able to get the weather information very quickly.

It's not every day that you can be a virtual pyromaniac! I was very lucky to have been chosen to help the NBC weather team illustrate how wildfires jump across roads and the danger they pose to passing vehicles. And, whatever you do, please don't drive through fire!

The Weather Channel is developing an app for a new platform that will allow weather data to be accessed from vehicles. Paul Goodloe, the on-air meteorologist for TWC, is the spokesman and 'drives' the spot as he explains the future functionality of the app.

Another tornado season is upon us and Weather is ready. I finished the editorial by Dave Colin based on styleframes provided by Trollback + Co. Amid the particles and smoke are titles that illuminate nighttime destruction caused by a twister.

As part of an internal design team (MK20), I was given the opportunity to pitch a brand look for The Weather Channel's new morning show starring Sam Champion; formerly of Good Morning America. I created a logo concept, color palette, and storyboards detailing various on-air branding content. Though my design was not chosen, I was still able to integrate into the launch team; building the 3D version of the final logo that would be used across many media outlets.

Being involved in the rebrand effort for The Weather Channel was a true career highlight. It was a massive effort and a real honor to work with all the people involved. Trollb├Ąck + Company won the bid; designing and developing the look across the channel. Using their design specs as inspiration, we created additional components to complete the package for their 11/12/13 launch.
