2010 Mustang Interior - The strong powerful design of the 2010 Mustang interior was guided by a sense of harmony. "It was very important for us to carefully sculpt the shapes to suggest speed and movement," says Senior Designer Robert Gelardi, "but it was equally important to maintain harmony between all elements."
"When designing the armrest, we repeated the dramatic arc on the console," says Gelardi "Not only to create a harmonious cohesive design, but to optimize ergonomics and comfort."

For 2010, the genuine aluminum trim panels are precisely inset to and fully encapsulated by the soft-touch instrument panel. "The instrument panel was carefully sculpted out and the genuine aluminum panels were placed within the shape, as opposed to just layed upon it," says Mustang Senior Designer Robert Gelardi.
