Hey Dave ! This one was made exactly like that. pen tool, draw the line, select a brush, stroke, then erase as u see fit. Then paint over. Yes it is limiting. Nothing like freehand. But, gotto do what i can :)

Alp, do you ever make your linework with the pen tool and then select a brush and stroke the path? You can even simulate pressure to give your lines a nice hand-done feel. It has its limitations though... nothing it like the real thing or a Cintiq!

done in photoshop. i started with a gray background, made a new layer and did loads of lines with pen tool, white hard brush (1) and started painting over in between with larger brushes. Since i dont use a tablet it becomes a little tricky when doing flowing highlights, but i managed.

Hi Arun, no this was done for a company leaflet. Owner decided the wants to use Moo as his own campaign, graphic designers did other visuals, for industrial design, i sketched this .

done in photoshop. i started with a gray background, made a new layer and did loads of lines with pen tool, white hard brush (1) and started painting over in between with larger brushes. Since i dont use a tablet it becomes a little tricky when doing flowing highlights, but i managed.

Alp, do you ever make your linework with the pen tool and then select a brush and stroke the path? You can even simulate pressure to give your lines a nice hand-done feel. It has its limitations though... nothing it like the real thing or a Cintiq!

Hey Dave ! This one was made exactly like that. pen tool, draw the line, select a brush, stroke, then erase as u see fit. Then paint over. Yes it is limiting. Nothing like freehand. But, gotto do what i can :)
