Packaging—trading cards - I still think this one was a pretty good idea. Project: Design a product, from concept to packaging, for the community. My product is a novelty; sold for relatively nothing ($1?) at public areas around the city. It would contain 10 or so random 'trading cards' each featuring a person or place in the city. Any citizen can join the database the cards are printed from by attaching a picture, a small ($1?) donation, and voluntary information on the form enclosed in every pack. Everyone gets a small 15 seconds of fame, you can see new neighbors you would not know otherwise, and donate to a worthy cause since all profits would go to benefit public programs. Theoretically, pretty cool I think.
