At least that's what I'm told. 2013 - 2014 Ural Motorcycles, Redmond, WA : Consulting / Creative Direction / Branding Marketing and strategy consulting, and I've also been helping them refine and expand their branding and messaging. I also helped launch major cobranded marketing efforts with both Poler Outdoor Stuff and Pendleton Woolen Mills. 2013 – 2014 1977 Mopeds, Kalamazoo, MI: Consulting Marketing and strategy consulting for 1977’s current family of business entities. 2013 Motorcycle Industry Council, Irvine, CA : Creative Direction / Branding Branding and identity for the Motorcycle Industry Council’s media outreach and rider education entity, Motorcycles.org. 2013 Moto Guzzi (PGA), New York, NY : Events Management, Creative Direction Developed and organized a four-day event in Los Angeles for the U.S. product launch of the company's range-topping model, the 2014 Moto Guzzi California 1400. I developed a team, led creative direction, and worked directly with Moto Guzzi’s VP of Marketing on all details and PR for the media party, arranged hotel accommodations for executive staff, food/beverages, and managed journalist and U.S. dealer logistics. 2013 Campbell Ewald, Los Angeles, CA : Freelance Art Direction Worked with both strategy and creative departments developing new business pitches, as well as online marketing and out-of-home advertising work for agency clients, including Kaiser Permanente, Discover Los Angeles, and PIMCO. 2007 - 2012 (acquired) Hell For Leather Media, LLC, NY/LA : Founder/CEO Hell For Leather was a two-pronged company with Hell For Leather Magazine as a daily content provider on the web covering the motorcycle industry to a healthy subscriber base, while Hell For Leather Media free was a consulting and creative agency primarily for Piaggio North America, manufacturer of Vespa, Moto Guzzi and Aprilia. I oversaw all finances, branding, marketing and events, maintained OEM relations, managed event sponsor relations as well as all vendors, led client marketing and advertising initiatives through the entire creative process from conception to completion, building and leading teams up to +40. Hell For Leather Media also signed on with Youtube’s enthusiast channel DRIVE to create the lifestyle adventure serial RideApart, the first season of which I also produced and directed.
