Ralph Lauren, Aspen CO. - Completed in Fall 2005, the Aspen CO. RL store consists of 2 floors. The Ground Floor was a traditional Polo store concept, but took several design cues from the local Colorado vernacular. The river stone fireplace is a good example of this, as is the Cash Counter, which was a retro fit of an antique saloon bar. The Lower Level is home to the RLX brand, a high tech sportswear line. Here the design concept was radically different. Clean lines, modern surfaces.
