A book about Rice and Ramyeon, the most staple food in Korea. Rice and ramyeon are must-have-kitchen-items for Koreans, however they are very different each other. Our ancestors has been regarded rice as the most precious food. It is healthy, and natural. Mean while, ramyeon is relatively recent invention. It is produced in the factory, artificial and instant food. However due to its irresistible taste and convenience to cook, it became very popular food in Korea. To represent these two contrary characteristic, two medium were used to illustrate them. Rice were drawn mostly by pencil, in saturated, calm colors. Pen and vivid color were used to draw ramyeon.
