BoM has been running ads on its pages for about a year. Lots of people don't like this idea much (me included). There are both internal "house" ads, like the ones shown here, and normal external ads from agencyland. The house ads really spike page visits to specific parts of the BoM site. I designed these 300x250 ads to resonate with and engage people's curiosity.
