Social Studies History Timeline poster - A poster created to promote the Houghton Mifflin grade school social studies product line.
Social Studies History Timeline poster front - The "pretty" side of the poster with facts about presidents (in the stars) and other historical figures above the timeline in the blue gradient. The timeline itself is in the lower 3rd of the poster in the yellow.
Social Studies History Timeline poster back - The business side of the poster. HM wanted a fun, enthusiastic approach to Social Studies represented, with the idea that children would be excited by their studies plus concrete facts about the product line.
Conference "goodie" bag tags - A tag that hangs from a conference "goodie" bag. HM requested simple geometric shapes be used in the design as the conference topics were mathematics.
Curious George bookmark (front and back) - Curious George is a trademarked HM product and is often used in their promotions. This is a bookmark placed in copies of textbooks that are given away by sales to teachers as samples. The bookmark promotes the product line and is meant to be appealing so that it is kept and used.
