Charette: Roxbury Crossing Terminal

Given the time frame of two days, the goal of the charette was to create a space/or object that would enhance Roxbury Crossing: The focus was to design a form that would complete the circle of Roxbury Crossing and bring new functions to the area without disrupting the path of the Southwest Corridor. The space would serve primarily as a bus terminal. It would also include a food court and markets giving the opportunity for local farmers and vendors to sell goods. The roof extends over the path of the Southwest Corridor creating canopys to walk under. These canopys also serve as shelter for bike storage and those waiting outside for the bus.
