as a teenager i used to admire this soviet-built bicycle brand called Moscow-80 (MOCKBA-80 in russian). now, when i had a chance to order my own custom tailored bicycle frame i decided to mimic and re-design my decades old obsession Moscow-80 brand with slight modification reflecting my own style preference.

gold accents work very well with off-white panels and burgundy background. it's been a fun project. i would be happy to do it again.

i was very excited to be able to work on design of every element of this project including frame geometry, color combination and decals. part of the challenge was to keep my design within the boundaries of the corresponding era.
