"Ready or Nought" was our school's first ever student-written and produced musical. While being humorous and light, it focused on important societal issues that remain prevalent today, like acceptance, corruption and rivalry. I played Stella, leader of the revolution against an oppressive (though admittedly very fashionable) upper-class. The four-page program I designed for our performance. I also wrote the original music and lyrics for the play, while the script, dance choreography and even sets and props were all designed and built by our class. Talk about a team effort!
Rogue Players' did a comedic rendition of "Mother Goose" (I had performed as the "Good Fairy"). Our children's theatre group is entirely volunteer-run, and focuses on promoting youth interest in The Arts in the community.
After an exhausting performance, here I am giving an autograph to an adorable little fan... It's moments like these that make it all worth it!
P.A.R.T.Y Program - an annual event in which actors audition and are selected to re-enact a car accident. P.A.R.T.Y stands for "Prevention of Alcohol-Related Trauma in Youth", and is a program presented to high-school students that helps to promote awareness of the dangers of substance abuse.
Rogue Player's charming children's play "Puss in Boots" (I performed as "Le Burger King").

Elizabeth Rummel Elementary School's production of "The Wizard of Oz", performing as Dorothy. It was the first time our town had ever done anything like this, and I was eager to get involved. Even if it was just between 3rd and 4th graders, the musical was fully-performed, complete with live singing and dance choreography! It turned out to be a wonderful success!
