Project EV-XI

Electric vehicle built from the ground up. Three wheeled, single person commuting. Completed fundraising, design, and fabrication in 8 months. Final vehicle weight with batteries: 380lbs. Powered by a 10 kW DC PM motor and a 2.5 kWh, 48 volt lithium ion battery back. At 300 amps max output it will accelerate to 40mph (top speed) in 4.5 seconds. Drive train is a belt drive to jackshaft with QD pulleys, to a chain final drive. Custom drive sprocket and 46T 6061- T6 Al chainring. Frame: 4140 High Carbon Steel.
